Projects: Anarrima Aquaponics Nakhl
Our 3000 m² aquaponic farm in Nakhl is our pilot and demonstration project. Located right at the foot of the Hajar mountains next to a small village, the farm features 3000 m² of combined greenhouse and aquaculture space, with additional 5000 m² of net protected area and supporting facilities under development.
The two greenhouses of 1150 m² each contain grow towers and media filled beds, in the central corridor, the 700 m² aquaculture component operates 24 fish tanks with a total capacity of 160,000 litre.
With this setup, we are able to grow 380,000 plants of leaf vegetables anually and raise 4000 plants of fruiting vegetables, specialising on Chili and Tomato specialities.
